St. Clair County's first ever Youth Readiness Council was created in the Spring of 2015. The Council is comprised of members from various locations around the county. 

We have worked hard to develop projects that will help to educate and inspire members in the county to be more prepared in the event of an emergency or disaster.

We would like to encourage youth to learn more about preparedness and what to do in an emergency situation. Through the council, members are able to come up with, plan, and create projects related to preparedness that will be shared with fellow youth. We hope to make a difference in our communities by spreading awareness in a fun and educational way.
